A 3D printing shop where the part sets the price

Mariscal 3D Print is a sample shop: customers pick or upload a model, paint it in up to four colours and see exactly what it costs, gram by gram.

It's a demo with a made-up business: the names, photos and prices are placeholders.

Who it's for

  • 3D printing shops and studios that quote every part by hand.
  • Makers printing to order who lose hours answering "how much would this cost?".
  • Businesses selling printed spare parts, gifts or figures that want to sell online.

What's inside

  • A catalogue of 10 free models (the 3DBenchy, the Utah teapot, Smithsonian sculptures), plus uploads in STL, OBJ, 3MF, GLB or PLY.
  • Six materials: PLA, silk, PETG, TPU, wood and resin.
  • Up to four colours by part, by layer or painted on with a brush.
  • Pricing worked out from the actual part: grams of material, machine hours and purge for every colour change.
  • True scale: a to-scale print bed, dimensions in millimetres and a 1 euro coin for reference.
  • A production order with a .zip of one STL per colour, and a shop mode for editing your own rates.

The question every 3D printing shop hears most is "how much?". And the answer always takes a while: open the file, scale it, run it through the slicer, do the maths. Mariscal 3D Print is a sample shop where customers get the answer themselves, with the actual part right in front of them.

A printer that never stops

The home page opens with a printer printing the catalogue models on a loop. The showcase has every part spinning with its starting price, and tapping one takes you into the studio. There you choose material, size and up to four colours (by part, by layer or with a brush), or upload your own file. The price comes from the part itself, and one tap breaks it down: grams, hours and purge.

A price that explains itself

When customers understand the price, they trust it. They see the real size next to a coin, get why four colours cost more, and order without messaging you first. You receive the photos, the dimensions, the filaments and a .zip with one STL per colour, ready for the slicer. Shop mode lets you set your own numbers: price per kilo, machine hour, margin.

Your printers, your spools

It's a demo: prices are examples and orders don't charge or print. For your shop we add your name, your materials, the colours you have in stock and your rates, plus payments and an order dashboard.

Paint the little boat

Head to 3dprint.themariscal.com, pick the little boat or upload an STL of your own, and watch the price change when you paint it in two colours.
